SHAZNA Plan Six-Month Single Series, Announce 2026 Live Dates
SHAZNA isn't slowing down in 2026. The legendary Visual Kei pioneers have announced an ambitious release schedule alongside an impressive slate of live performances that'll keep fans busy throughout the year.
For those unfamiliar with SHAZNA's legacy: the band emerged from Japan's 1990s Visual Kei golden age, fronted by the charismatic IZAM. Known for theatrical presence and melodic rock sensibilities, they've maintained a devoted following despite numerous lineup changes and hiatuses. Their recent appearance at the CROSS ROAD Fest last November—where they pulled double duty across both festival days alongside La'cryma Christi—proved the band remains a draw for nostalgic VK enthusiasts and newer fans alike.
**What's Coming:**
Starting July 7, 2026, SHAZNA will roll out six consecutive digital singles over a six-month period. Details on the releases are forthcoming, but this marks a serious commitment to new material.
The anniversary celebrations kick off August 29 with their **Debut 29th Anniversary LIVE** at Shibuya Pleasure Pleasure. This dual-show event (afternoon and evening performances) will feature different visuals and setlists for each stage—a smart move for fans wanting to experience both. Tickets run ¥8,000 presale / ¥9,000 day-of, with fan club presales opening May 2.
**Halloween Horror:**
SHAZNA's signature Halloween event returns October 17–18 at Reny Alpha in Akabane. Day one features a two-band clash: **SHAZNA vs MUCC**—a pairing that should draw serious crowds. Day two expands the lineup with YUKI-Starring Raphael, BugLug, and KING. Tickets: ¥7,500 presale / ¥8,500 day-of.
November brings a three-show **VERSUS** two-man series and—most nostalgically—their first collaboration with **PENICILLIN since 1994**. Details coming soon.
Tickets available through eplus.jp and Lawson Ticket (links in official announcements). Mark your calendars—this is essential stuff for anyone tracking the 90s VK renaissance.
